Meet the Teacher
Welcome to our Year 5 class page. This is where you will find all of the information specifically related to the Year 5 class and their learning. In Year 5 we must work the hardest of all year groups as we are going to be Year 6 next year and the harder we work this year will mean that Year 6 will come much easier. We will have reading and times-tables challenges and will aim to achieve our personal best in all that we do. We are now much older and so the children are expected to come to school each day fully prepared with any equipment that they may need. Each child must still bring a book bag in every day for their reading book, home learning and letters.
If you need to speak to one of the adults in class about your child, you must call the office and arrange for a telephone appointment at a convenient time. If you have an urgent message for the teaching team, please call the office and they will make sure that the message is relayed using our new systems.
